Nestled in the folds of the West Suffolk hills, Moulton is a charming village, that pre-dates the Doomsday book of 1086 and is older than Newmarket. The ancient Ickneild Way (B1506) forms the northern parish boundary and also the county boundary with Cambridgeshire.

As well as a long and established past, modern day Moulton is a vibrant village with modern facilities such as the excellent PrimarySchool and new Village hall which was opened on the 4th September 2010.
The award winning Store & Post Office offers daily newspapers, fresh bakery and dairy produce, local greengrocery items, hot tea and coffee, freshly filled rolls as well as stocking general store items and also acts as the hub of the community as well as attracting visitors from far and wide.
The Post Office serves the community with all postal items, pensions, a cash machine, personal banking and a host of other post office facilities.
The Packhorse Inn an award winning pub opened its doors in November 2013 offers a modern bar and restaurant serving superb food and snacks, it also offers bed and breakfast and boasts 5 stars with the AA, and 3 Rosettes for Culinary Excellence.
